Armoured cables are electrical cable with metallic protection over insulated conductors. For additional protection the conductors are insulated with plastic layer surrounded by metallic cover. The metallic layer provides mechanical strength against any sort of damage. The armoured layer can be Copper, Aluminum or Steel. These cables are used in power supply for large application.
Insulation: 1.1 kv grade Armoured cables are available with XLPE and PVC insulation. Manufactured as per IS 7098 Part 1 & IS 1554.
Conductor: All Conductors confirm to IS:8130. Power cables are made from electrolytic grade aluminum and for control cables high conductivity annealed copper.
